To love oneself

Love is the greatest thing of all. Without love for oneself how can you go on in your life? We all get our love from God. He is the source of love. From such love we get our strength. Everyday we need to fill up our batteries to be able to face the trials that come our way. Without love how can we go on. How can we say to the world that we can. We must be able to do our share of God's work in the world with the love that we receive from the Father. and from that comes our happiness. To be able to attain such contentment, such achievement of finally attaining your goal of finding God's purpose for you. You wouldn't be able to achieve that without love for oneself. Love gives us courage to go on and face life's troubles. We need love to communicate with other people in union with God our Creator. We need love to relate with one another. And to love oneself we learn how to sacrifice for one another as God calls us to be. By loving oneself we open up ourselves to the love that God has for us and we see ourselves now as God sees us. As loving children of God. Full of potential. Full of love. Full of spirit. We are no longer mere creatures but sons and daughters of God. And when we love ourselves we experience how God loves us and we now value the importance of how God sees us. We are important for Him and in Him we can accomplish anything. God has given us all potential and we are like Him in the sense that we can accomplish great things as stewards of His gifts. Suddenly, we can make bridges to make connections, we can move mountains to topple problems, we can accomplish anything we put our minds into. We become happy. And that love because of God makes us complete in Him.
