The problems in today's world
What matters in the world today? To some, as long as you have money, you're earning, it is enough. I guess, what matters is the quality of life that you have in this world. The kind of relationships that you have. That's what really matters in life. We have dreams and we have problems. We should strive hard to achieve our dreams and try to solve the problems that life throws at us. God has put in our hearts the dreams that we have for ourselves and so with the challenges that come with it, we must try to solve our problems and achieve that dream that we have for ourselves. Relationships play a big part too in our lives. Is there such a thing as unsolvable problems. I guess not. You just have to put bigger faith in God. God is bigger than any problems and He is in control of everything in this world. Sometimes, that is quite hard to believe especially if you have your own problems but that is the bigger challenge. To be able to face life with faith. To believe in God as much as you can and to hope and pray to God for your lack of faith. You just wish to God that He will send you a person, a gift, who will make things work out for you. And you just wish to have fruitful relationships with other people so that you can say that everyday in your life counts. You just wish that your prayers will be answered. I guess, all in all, everybody has got problems but the miracle there is if people are gonna come together and lend a helping hand to someone who is in need. Like for me, i have a money problem. I just wish sometimes that God would send me a person who would hire me or give me a job, money, food for the table. I am hungry. But I guess, I don't announce that to the world ( except now in this blog) so nobody gives me money for food. I am sometimes afraid that in this world you cannot go around without money in your pocket and there are certain things that you choose not to do like accounting work that is freelance or selling outside going to strangers and asking for a sale, but I think I am most willing to do that once I go into sales, is there any other way? i have to take the challenge. This is what life is all about. Successful people have done it once in their lives why can't I? So you see, I need to be willing to give, to sacrifice, for love, for the family and be thankful for the blessings that come my way in this life. Poverty is a major problem in the Philippines and if only you can have sardines and noodles in your dinner table, which we sometimes do, you'd already have a feast if you'd cook 2 noodles with egg and open a can of sardines for two people plus rice plus water. Whew! Delicious and mouth watering. Sometimes, it's just tinapa. Sometimes, eggs. Sometimes tocino or longganisa. But, it's delicious and I thank God for all these blessings in our table. It's easy to work, mind you. What's so limiting is the budget that you need to have for your transportation and food allowance everytime you need to go out. I am still figuring out how to make do with that computation. If it costs P300 to go out daily to go on sales, then that would amount to P6000 for 20 days or one month. That's my out of pocket cost for doing sales. What if that money does not return. What if it doesn't turn to sales? So what do I do now? Nobody gives me a job anymore because they think I am unqualified based on what is written on my resume. They have been doing that for the past 12 years. So what will be the difference now? Hope. Prayers. Faith. And the will to go on. The will to continue with life. That tomorrow will be different from yesterday. And that God will answer all our prayers in a way that will be advantageous for everyone.
