I recently went to the GoNegosyo Summit and learned about different businesses. I saw Loren Legarda, Cynthia Villar, Gladys Reyes, Marides Fernando, Vicky Belo, Pacita Juan and heard the voice of Eric Santos sad to say I didn't see him, I was listening to a talk in the seminar room.
I similarly went to a negosyo fair by Buy and Sell and learned about different businesses and Ultima Entrepinoy meat processing skills and car shampoo mixing seminars all at affordable prices.
At a mall nearby, I chanced upon a new friend which I think is awesome because I need to meet new friends that way. She just talked to me about business in the mall in a few seconds or very few minutes and we're off. I hope to meet new friends in this way because I tend to be always with old friends and not engaging anymore to things that would add life to me. I hope I wouldn't be boring in my life anymore always measuring everything in terms of what I could afford and where I could afford to go to. I always maximize my few pesos of allowance from my mom and something's got to return.
I think this time I am really gonna try to sell something. That's a good start. And when I get the feel of it then maybe it will become a learned skill and then I will build my businesses. Hopefully.
I am still gonna write and attend a few seminars which I could afford and let's just see where the money will roll.
I need to make relationships for I am very interested in them and making the most out of my life to the points where I could afford it.
Judging on what I have or ask from my mom, I do enjoy everything that is made available to me like magazines or books, cable and internet, malling, newspapers and conversations with my mom and some family and friends. I just wish to continue with the flow of life and I feel that I have to do something or at least I could quit trying to prove something and just go with the flow of life.
Nothing has changed, making money is still a challenge for me cause for me I don't want to use any of my money for starting business. I want to use other people's money. I find it expensive and costly. If only I could go out in one day with P0 in my wallet, I will. And then, make something like P10000 in a day's work. I would be very happy with that. Is happiness connected with the money you make. I bet it is. But it should not always be the case. Earning just to have the comforts for me is enough. If it is very hard to earn money then that would be enough. But to earn a million per month is something that would make me very happy and rich. That means security for me. So if I have only a few pesos won't I feel secure? Maybe, if earning more money means security for you but to have no money is like walking in a strange land where people adore money because you cannot do anything without money, have you tried that? You cannot have shelter, food and drink and even clothes without money so money is very important.
In that case, I should learn to ask for money. Not work. I am working. With this blog. With the journal I am writing. With my mom. With the things that I read and watch on tv. With my family. With my friends. But asking for money. I should learn how to ask money from strangers, the group of people that would become my co-workers or business friends. I work but don't get paid. For example, I study accounting and business but nobody pays me. It should not be for free because I exert effort in doing those things. I am working. I am preparing the soil. I am planting the seeds. I am watering the plants. I gotta start with something. Something i am willing to give. i hope to do everything that is out there for me to choose from.
I gotta start with something. I gotta learn how to ask for money. I reason out with my mom when i could have used that sense in a talk that I could deliver to teach other people or to write books which I could sell for a price.
What I am praying for is to have the initiative and the creativity to start on something. I need to learn how to ask for money. How's P100000 for a talk. Or P500 for a book on business. Or a million on a business advice. I gotta learn how to ask for money.
